Midbarium
Midbarium is an interactive animal park and the first of its kind in the world, which creates a unique and experiential meeting between the visitor and the animals.
The park advocates active learning through exploration and curiosity. During your visit to the park, you will meet the desert animals up close, and experience innovative games with a variety of technologies that will allow you to feel "in the animal's skin", see the world through its eyes and learn about its unique characteristics. We will experience the amazing skills of animals - we will be able to lurk like an alligator, climb like an ibex, hear like a fennec fox or learn the language of baboons, and we will feel the belonging to the great network that connects us all - the ecosystem.
The desert animals we will meet are here to reveal to us a world that exists in extreme environmental conditions, so each individual must be a survival expert. In designated areas we will learn experientially how the animals face the challenges of the desert: the paucity of precipitation and their unique ways of maximizing water absorption, extreme temperature changes between day and night, and the utilization of the desert environment to assimilate and camouflage, or to stand out and deter predators.
In the time we live in, weighty environmental challenges disrupt the balance these animals need to survive, and our learning here is valuable, because those who know, respect. And those who respect, protect our environment, for all of us - humans, animals and plants
