Among the world’s most respected research centers, the Weizmann Institute is responsible for important discoveries at the forefront of technology and science. To present its innovative achievements and outstanding scientific personnel, the institute required an equally inventive visitors center.
The planning process required in-depth research and full cooperation with the Institute’s steering committee, whose members demanded an especially high level of precision. Their interaction with Hataasiya’s team helped bring intriguing ideas to life in a spirit of creative freedom.
The Weizmann Institute visitors center is intended for adults as well as science-oriented youngsters, leveraging their natural curiosity to draw them through its spaces, exhibits and fields of science, including unmediated encounters with scientists describing their fields of activity and motivation to explore scientific frontiers. The visit concludes with a summarizing multi-sensory experience.
The project’s success attracted a team from Walt Disney Company, who came to study the visitors center’s advanced technologies and novel approach for communicating scientific content to the general public.
